Your time is precious.

The last thing you want to be doing is something that isn’t worth your time, or if you put extra time into it don’t reap the proper benefits. Especially in these COVID times, we realized how valuable our time is, and if something doesn't serve us *zoom team building* then we'll never get back that hour of our time.

Recovery is a super trendy topic these days, making it hard to figure out what exactly to do.  Should you stretch? Foam Roll?  Do ‘mobility’? Drink some celery? Trying to navigate what's best for your joint health with all the newest instagram trends, fitness fads, and recovery tools are hard.  Our Boston Physical Therapists and Sports Massage therapists cover all areas of recovery.

So -- let's make it easy.

Making sure you’re doing the right things comes in two forms — the quality of your recovery and the quantity of what you’re doing.

A 60 minute ‘mobility’ class that takes you through haphazard stretching is not equal to 5-10 minutes of strict joint mobility strength work. You might only be able to influence change in one joint, but it’ll be lasting change opposed to the nothingness you get from general stretching.  Does it feel good?  Sure!  Mentally are you better afterwards?  Most people, yes!  But if we're actually talking about joint health and function, we need to abide to physiology

Quantity of time is great, but if the principals behind what you’re doing don’t line up with 😱science😱 then I’m sorry to say but you’re wasting your time. And there's nothing worse than that.

That's why we put together the 5 Minute Mobility series to take all the guess work out of how you should recover, and what's best for your joint homework.  Use as appropriate;

Just got done a big run and your hips need to be tuned up?  Try the hip video

Did a big upper body lift and need some shoulder love?  Shoulder video is calling your name.

Want to just improve your overall mobility?  Give the full body series a try everyday.

You get the drill.
